Job description:
We are a busy Thai restaurant looking for an experienced and reliable kitchen professional to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who has real kitchen experience, can handle busy service, and wants long-term growth in a strong team environment.
Position:
Head Cook / Experienced Cook
Pay: AU$30.00 – AU$35.00 per hour
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year kitchen experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant
- Able to communicate in Thai or understand Thai
Experience with:
- wok cooking
- prep
- service line
- stock control (preferred)
- Able to work under pressure during busy service
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred:
- Experience leading kitchen staff
- Opening/closing kitchen
- Training junior staff
- Knowledge of Thai cuisine
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to restaurant standards
- Support smooth kitchen operations during service
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Work closely with the kitchen team and management
